An administrator of the Fluidcast Platform can offer any type of content as a “digital download.” This refers to a method by which a user needs to pay for a piece of content, offered in any dollar amount, and once a payment is completed, can download that content instantly.

The Fluidcast Platform protects online content by masking the location of the file. Content is also protected by Fluidcast’s “anti-leeching” engine.

Any digital download can also be assigned as a (rental.) This means that an administrator can decide on what length of time a piece of content can be downloaded.

For example;

A Video in WMV format can be downloaded for 3 days for $4.95
A PDF can be downloaded for 5 days for $14.95
A E-Book can be downloaded for 4 days for 12.95
A Full Length movie can be download for an unlimited amount of time for $19.95

Note; Only registered users are able to actually make purchases under the “basic version” of the Fluidcast platform. (of course this can be modified by the administrator any way they wish.) The pay per download works very similar to most online shopping carts which provide digital downloads.
